Foba M1000 Overview
The compact manual fiber laser marking machine FOBA M1000 has been designed for the high-quality laser marking of small parts, medium sized components and work pieces and batches. Among others, the M1000 is ideally suited for laser marking autoparts, medical products, metal and plastic tools and general industrial products and components. The small and mobile universal marking workstation is also perfect for laser based contract manufacturing. The M1000 processes small metallic and plastic components but also batches both economically and in high marking quality.
It is ideally suited for manufacturers with low volume requirements or where space constraints demand an efficient solution. The workstation can also be cart mounted for mobility throughout a user's facility.
The desktop workstation is operated in laser safety class 1 and comes with a programmable Z-axis, a small worktable and a smoothly opening lift door – available either as manual or as optional electric lift door. When open, the interior space is accessible from three sides. In order to cover the broadest possible spectrum of applications, various fiber laser markers are available for integration. .
Foba Vision
Point & Shoot
Point & Shoot™ is used to manually position marking contents on the products to be marked. The Point & Shoot™ camera system views (through the lens) on the marking field, captures an image of the component and displays it in the user interface. The user creates the marking and positions it (via ‘drag & drop’) at the exact position on the product where it is supposed to be applied. The camera-guided laser marking process leads to a reduction in the number of defective products and higher degrees of economic efficiency and productivity, since all markings are applied at the desired location and in the specified manner.
IMP
FOBA's laser integrated vision system IMP (Intelligent Mark Positioning) is the heart of the market‘s simplest and most complete laser marking process solution called HELP, Holistic Enhanced Laser Process. With the concept of integrating the vision system directly into the marking system, we offer our customers a unique, simple and broad part marking workflow solution that ensures the highest production performance.
The patented IMP high-speed camera system automatically detects work pieces and their positions and aligns the etching accordingly, ensuring precision and repeatability. IMP consistently provides premium-quality markings and produces a measurable reduction in the number of defective products. This makes the camera system ideal for automated series production.
Mosaic
The US-patented MOSAIC feature addresses the key challenges of accurately aligning marks on large parts regardless of the part position and orientation. MOSAIC uses the internal camera of the laser to create an image of the marking field by simulating a straight down camera view. The straight down view eliminates the side view distortion typically created when using an external camera, and enables the system to accurately mark parts regardless of their placement.
